HDD mud recycling system is developed, designed and manufactured to meet trenchless technology requirements at home and abroad and is applied in purification treatment of mud returned from underground during horizontal directional drilling process. Cuttings with big particle sizes are separated by shale shaker, mud cleanerand other solids control equipment. Mud materials required are added and evenly mixed for circulation via jet mud mixer to meet performance requirements for reuse. Mud is pumped into horizontal directional drilling mud system by mud pump for recycling.

Field of use
The whole system consists of a mud recovery treatment unit and a mud preparation unit.
Before construction, using mud mixing device to blend fresh water with mud material, achieving the purpose of mud preparation;
Using slurry pump to supply the prepared slurry to the wellhead;
Return of waste mud from the wellhead is pumped to the shale shaker in the mud treatment unit, and the waste mud is removed through mud shale shaker to remove large amount of waste solid particles. The treated slurry liquid will continue to be supplied to mud cleaner through sand pump, after treatment the liquid can meet using requirements. Because after this system treated, solid particles content in slurry liquid is 75 microns.
