Cutting Structure
Part of Tricone bits, both Steel Tooth Bits and TCI Bits are available .
Gauge Structure
With active cutting gauge protection inserts on bit body, the bit has good gauge protection and up drill capability.
Bearing Structure
High precision journal bearing. Balls lock the cone.Hardface heard bearing surface. Cone bearing inlaid with friction-reducing alloy. Abrasion resistance and seizure resistance of the bearing are improved. Compared with three cone bit, the leg bearing is bigger, so it can receive higher WOB and high reliability.
Product Application
Bit cutters(legs) are mainly used in building big diameter piling bits or hole opener , core barrel a ccording to different formation’s .
Advantages
1. It has a wide range of applications, not only for side drilling, but also for deep wells.
2. Under the same drilling pressure and formation conditions, the working torque is lower than the PDC bit. The problem of expansion and buckling of small-sized boreholes is reduced, and downhole accidents are avoided.
3. It is more suitable for large plastic formations than tri-cone bits, and it can also be applied to hard interlayers where PDC bits cannot handle other complex formations.
4. The downhole motor can be used for high-speed special drilling.
